Persistence of Form

Persistence of Form

Panel 120x80

The ancient structure reappears through layered aerial images. Tears gradually reveal its oval shape, emphasizing its lasting presence.

Forced Integration

Forced Integration

Panel 70x70

The work is built around a simple form: the circle. A tear opens the surface, revealing the pine grove within. Overlapping layers create depth and push the image toward abstraction.

Corrupted Memory

Corrupted Memory

Panel 120*80 cm

The pier of Forte dei Marmi cuts across a dark, stormy sea. Garuda combines three layers of imagery — colour, black and white, and offset four-colour printing — which, broken apart by the tears, create a work where reality and abstraction intertwine, transforming the force of the sea into an intense and dynamic visual experience.

Frattura Anomala

Frattura Anomala

Panel 120x80

Taken above the quarries of Carrara, this work creates a tension between the dominant white of the stone and the red of the board beneath it. The tear interrupts the image and reveals a sharp, physical fracture that makes the contrast even more striking.

The shape of escape

The shape of escape

Panel 150x100

Four layers build a structured image of symmetry and depth. The tear interrupts stability, introducing tension between order and chaos.

Anomaly I — Density

Anomaly I — Density

Panel 120x100

The beach becomes a chromatic mosaic. Red, green, and blue define three layers, three spaces, merged into one image.

Structural dissonance

Structural dissonance

Panel 150x100

A vertical composition where the central black-and-white area draws the eye inward, creating a strong visual and mental focal point.

Anomaly II — Order

Anomaly II — Order

Panel 120x80

A fragmented reconstruction of the beach. Modular elements are interrupted by tears, creating a shifting visual surface.

Vital System

Vital System

Panel 120x90 cm

Two images of an olive grove, layered, torn and partially burned, reveal the red-painted board beneath. The color emerges like an arterial system running through the landscape.

Anomaly III — Deviation

Anomaly III — Deviation

Panel 120x80

A more structured variation. Geometry defines order, while tears introduce tension and instability.

I was what you are.

I was what you are.

Two layers of paper glued onto a 122 × 80 cm panel.

Image of an olive grove exploring the relationship between intact vegetation and areas affected by fire. The hand-torn interventions disrupt the continuity of the composition, alternately revealing the green olive trees and the burnt ones.

Imperfect grid

Imperfect grid

Panel 150x122

Three layers of the same image — one in black and white, one in color, and one with an RGB shift — are superimposed and connected through torn sections. The tears interrupt the continuity of the image, allowing different readings of the same landscape to emerge at once.

Panel 120x80

The cuts in the image echo those in the mountain. Natural and human interventions reflect each other in a sharp visual tension.

Temporal Misalignment

Temporal Misalignment

Panel 150x100

The sea becomes emotional matter. Torn and layered, it holds both calm and storm, balancing between harmony and disruption.

Double Exposure

Double Exposure

Panel 100x80

Photographed in 2012 from above, this work marks a turning point: landscape becomes vision. Today it survives as the trace of a lost moment.

Visual Overload

Visual Overload

Panel 120x80

Boats lose their function and become visual signs. The composition shifts between order and fragmentation, turning the harbor into graphic language.

Random Distribution

Random Distribution

Panel 150x100

A field where chaos and order coexist. People, colors, and sand form a spontaneous, energetic composition.

Accidental Relation

Accidental Relation

Panel 50x70

Three layers of torn aerial photography bring boats, umbrellas, and clouds into a fragile balance between visual order and material gesture. The view from above becomes rhythm, fracture, and suspension.

Boundary Line

Boundary Line

Panel 120x80

A boat crosses the sea, leaving a trace between reality and memory. Torn layers create tension between water and sand, while the tear introduces movement and instability.

Information Overload

Information Overload

Panel 120x80

Eight layers of torn photography explore a central tension: maintaining order within fracture. The city emerges in fragments, becoming an almost painterly structure.

Partial Dissonance

Partial Dissonance

Panel 100x80

The city is reinterpreted through layered images. Tears redraw the urban fabric into a new, unstable visual map.

Parking Areas

Parking Areas

Panel 120x80

A parking lot and an industrial truck area merge into one image. Repetition and grid transform functional space into an abstract pattern.

Flaying

Flaying

Panel 150x100

Born from a moment of creative standstill, this work carries strong inner tension. Beneath the surface, Dante appears as a poetic trace. Clouds tear open, revealing the forest in a movement of release.

Guang Rong

Guang Rong

Panel 150x100

Lo scatto aereo della nave Guang Rong, incagliata sul pontile di Marina di Massa, viene trasformato in una costruzione di livelli strappati che frammentano e preservano insieme la memoria dell’evento.
